This project explores language as an instrument to promote self-regulated learning processes.

On the one hand, completed tasks are used to ascertain to what degree the conditions for this form of integrated language teaching are sufficiently present, thereby ensuring both the acquisition of sustainable knowledge and the promotion of personal growth.

On the other hand, the project highlights the degree to which language as an instrument in self-regulated learning is already explicitly integrated in teaching language courses and general subjects at mono- and bilingual schools.
